Great work Bartek, very well explained! One question I have is with regard to the section on Peak Detection. Would like to ask what is the rationale of creating a smoothed version of the data with the cubic interpolation (i.e., rr_interpolated_ecg)? Would it have been possible to just use the rr_ecg directly for the rest of the analysis?
